why it’s worth the money
This is La Roche-Posay sunscreen from France. I’ve only been using it since 2026, but I’ve known for a long time that European sunscreens use filters that aren’t available in the US and give better protection against UVA rays, not just UVB. So I finally bit the bullet and bought it, and I love it.
I love the applicator. It squeezes easily onto your face, it’s really fluid, and it smells great, like everything made in France. Next time, I’m going to buy several at once.
Years ago, around 2016 and 2017, I used a Neutrogena sunscreen with a similar formula. As a US formula, it wasn’t as good on UV protection, and then it was discontinued. In the ten years since, I hadn’t found anything that matched it, until this one.
