I love reading reviews, product testing, deciding the verdict, and telling people about it. Recommending is my love language. Sometimes my advice is unsolicited, and I’m not sorry. I like products that are useful, smart, beautiful, or all three.
I love Calico Critters, the Japanese Sylvanian Families toys from 1985. Here I am happy as a clam in FAO Schwarz. I dream of going to Japan one day for the product sourcing alone.
To get a sense of how I am as a parent, this second photo is the line up of sippy cups I tried when my first child moved from a bottle to a cup. The silicone short cup three in from the right was the ultimate winner: the Olababy Silicone Straw Training Cup. We still use it for smoothies today, years later.
